Our story
PFLAG was founded in 1973 when a mother publicly supported her gay son, inspiring a movement for acceptance and advocacy. Today, PFLAG is the nation's largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. PFLAG Boise / Treasure Valley is a local chapter of this national network, providing resources, support groups, and a safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families in the Boise and Treasure Valley community.
