In early 2025, a group of community members came together to form PFLAG Boise/Treasure Valley in response to growing concerns about the safety and well-being of LGBTQ+ individuals in the Treasure Valley. Recognizing a strong need for supportive spaces and educational resources, the chapter was created to help community members better understand and support their LGBTQ+ friends and family. As a proud chapter of the national PFLAG organization, PFLAG Boise/Treasure Valley is committed to providing guidance, resources, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ individuals, their families, and allies. The chapter aims to foster a more inclusive and informed community throughout the Treasure Valley, promoting acceptance, understanding, and connection. By leveraging the expertise and resources of the national organization, PFLAG Boise/Treasure Valley works to raise awareness and provide meaningful support for all who seek it.
